A beautiful country house

History, memories, now a place to share

South Downs National Park is one of the country’s newest parks. Since the 1920’s there has been an ambition to protect the surrounding areas including Ditchling. In March 2010, this was finally realised and cast in stone.

Our house which sits near to the historic beacon landmark was a means of communicating during the medieval periods, torches would light along the downs to alert of danger. Today, it is home to some of the most unique walks and landmarks, including the Jack & Jill windmills.

The house itself was built in the 1934, which was confirmed via a carving in the original chimney in 1984. The swimming pool also received an award for its unique design at that time, which now promotes it’s eco credentials with an air source heat pump and UV cleaning system.

Its most recent renovation in 2019 attempted to retains its original features (church door, and internal stain glass window) but provide comfort and luxury to families in a secluded hideaway.

Over the past few months as we embarked on some renovations, we decided it would be an amazing opportunity to share this wonderful tranquil place with other families. Creating their own cherished memories!

An amazing space to play, be imaginative, explore, share adventures, and create wonderful memories.

We look forward to welcoming you
